CROP Hunger Walkers bring relief to Puerto Rico

Another reason to be part of a nationwide effort that splits proceeds globally AND locally . Here's a message from a national CROP Hunger Walk organizer - please join our Ventura walk and donate tomorrow afternoon:
"As we enter the peak season for CROP Hunger Walks across the nation, we can’t thank you enough for adding to the momentum in the fight to end hunger. CROP Hunger Walkers are generous givers! Together, Walkers have already raised more than half a million dollars in online donations - and that doesn’t include cash/check donations that are currently being tallied! Because of you, we are making great strides toward a world where all have nutritious food, clean water and a safe place to call home.
As you can imagine, many Walkers have been directly impacted by this year’s storms, so we wanted to share a snapshot of our ongoing hurricane relief efforts. The CWS/CROP team is already helping in Texas, Florida, Cuba and Haiti, and now we are adding Puerto Rico to our response as we make plans to ship CWS Hygiene Kits and tarps to affected communities following Hurricane Maria. Thank you. Your steps hold so much meaning for those who must journey for shelter and safety when disasters strike."
